Educating mind and spirit through Opportunity, Leadership, and Integrity
As the only Catholic school in Jeff Davis Parish, Our Lady Immaculate Catholic School has been a pillar in the community for 67 years. The primary goal of a Catholic education is to prepare children for salvation. Catholic schools nurture the entire person in mind, body, and spirit by providing students with opportunities to expand their knowledge, explore their passions, create community, and strengthen their sense of self. Students come to know God all in one place.
“When there is a culture of community around the educational process, children feel more positive, supported, and confident in their ability to excel. Research shows that teacher commitment, student engagement, and student achievement are higher in catholic schools because we operate as communities rather than bureaucracies.” - julie cassidy, principal
